Job DetailsWe are seeking an attorney to join a collaborative practice focused on labor and employment matters. This role offers the opportunity to handle a broad mix of litigation, counseling, workplace compliance, investigations, and transactional support. You will work directly with clients on day-to-day employment challenges while also contributing to complex disputes and strategic workplace initiatives. The position is ideal for an attorney who enjoys variety, wants meaningful client contact, and is interested in building a long-term practice focused on helping employers navigate workforce-related issues.
Responsibilities
- Represent employers in workplace-related litigation and administrative proceedings
• Advise clients on employment laws, workforce management, and HR-related matters
• Draft and revise employment agreements, policies, handbooks, and related documents
• Conduct workplace investigations and assist with employee training initiatives
• Support employment aspects of corporate transactions and due diligence reviews
• Assist clients with labor relations matters and workforce-related disputes as needed
• Research legal developments and provide practical guidance on compliance issues
• Collaborate with attorneys across multiple practice areas to deliver strategic client solutions
Qualifications
- 4+ years of labor and employment law experience
• Experience handling employment litigation and workplace counseling matters
• Background drafting employment-related agreements, policies, and compliance documents
• Experience conducting investigations or workplace training is a plus
• Exposure to labor relations issues, collective bargaining matters, or administrative proceedings is beneficial
• Familiarity with transactional employment support and due diligence matters is a plus
• Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills
• Solid academic credentials
Requirements
- J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active bar membership in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
• Strong attention to detail and sound professional judgment
• Excellent client service and relationship management skills
• Ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced practice
• Demonstrated interest in developing and growing an employment-focused practice
